City League wrestling preview: Obama Academy out to defend team titles

The 2025 City League team champion was Obama Academy, which defeated Carrick, 65-10, in the semifinals and Allderdice, 40-35, in the finals. The Eagles were defeated, 74-0, against Norwin in the opening round of the PIAA Class 3A team tournament. In the individual championships, Obama edged Allderdice, 159-158, for the team title. Its champions were Mikel Jordan (114), Charles Bottoms (133), Daniel Cabiness (152) and Shawn Scott (189). Allderdice had five champions. They were Xander Henteleff (107), Heney Caruso (127), Aviv Biamant (160), Tom Patermoster (172) and Jhamir Rainey (285).
